North German Style 5.1% ABV

This straw-blonde lager honours the 19th century Northern Germans who settled in the area. Respected for their craftsmanship and humble and honest nature, this beer strives to continue these characteristics.

Brewed in small batches, using the barest, yet highest quality of German malts and hops, and in refusing to use adjuncts, this beer is as honest and true as it gets.

Pale Lager 4.9% ABV

Clear, yet full-bodied, low in bitterness and mildly sweet, this lager represents what a Canadian is at their finest.

Kolsch Style Ale 5.3% ABV

Square Head: An honest person, a non-criminal of Germanic origin, a conventional traditionalist.

Some try to ridicule us with this name, but little do they know that we take pride and comfort in its meaning as we brew this Kolsch style beer with the pledge to be honest to its Germanic roots following traditional crafted conventions.

Black Lager 5.0% ABV

The roots of this dark and cool fermented lager originated in Eastern Germany, the homeland of early German settlers.

With its use of roasted malt, this beer provides a comforting experience of both cocoa and coffee, perfect for complimenting conversation on a long, cold and dark winter night.

Baltic Porter 7.7% ABV

A once thriving port and shipbuilding centre on the German Baltic coast, Ueckermuende jwas the home of exceptional fishermen and seafaring merchants plying their trade from Denmark to Russia.

Kellerbier Amber Lager 5.0% ABV

Known for its sturdy working class red brick houses, Isabella Street (Pembroke, Ontario) – which was once named Berlin Street before war hysteria changed its name – was home to many ethnic Germans who contributed to Pembroke’s prosperity. This amber kellerbier pays respect to this section of the city’s past.

Classic American Pilsener 4.2% ABV

Somewhere on the voyage, they stole our ‘N.’ Our version of this classica American Pilsener follows a traditional German recipe, but uses only North American ingredients. Lovers of our North German Pils will love this emigrant interpretation utilizing Ottawa Valley barley and Mid-Western corn.

Harvest Ale 5.2% ABV

This beer is as locally sourced as we can make it.

We are blessed that the 9 acre site on which our brewery is situated was once the vibrant home of Andy and Ruth Flood, who ran both a garden and nursery centre along with a child birthing clinic.

Our land is bountiful – full of local life, along with various plants and crops that we nurture and harvest.

This harvest ale plays homage to Mr & Mrs flood for all the natural resources they bequeathed to use and which we now utilize for this beer.

Bavarian Wheat Ale 4.6% ABV

Like a welcomed summer rain, this unfiltered refreshing wheat beer with its subtle cloudy appearance makes for an enjoyable ale.
